The co-drivers view: Amsterdam A1 / A9 / A2

Driving around Amsterdam during the afternoon rush hour, traffic into the city is ok, but traffic leaving the city is causing traffic jams. But as can be seen in the first part of the video, several construction projects have started in order to relieve the burden on the traffic. However the interchanges remain a bottle neck, as this is the place where the traffic jams originate (I end up in one at the end).

Car used: BMW 318i (E90 / MY2010)





Extra, another big infrastructural program was the expansion of the highway A2 between Amsterdam and Utrecht, from 2x3 lanes to 2x 5 lanes. This can be seen in the video below:
